The online experts at the Internet Watch Foundation have what is arguably the worst job in the world. Their daily work requires them to trawl the global web, searching for images involving the violent sexual abuse of children – then removing them and, where possible, reporting the perpetrators to national and international law enforcement agencies.
We were filled with admiration for the dedication and mental robustness of the IWF team, and felt that it was actually a privilege to be able to help them in any way we could in their gruelling work.
We’d already responded to a number of briefs from the Cambridge-based organisation but perhaps the most rewarding one was to produce a presentation pack to acknowledge the help and generosity of their partners and supporters.
For although the IWF is part-funded by the Internet industry and by the European Commission, it still relies upon the input of many corporate entities and individuals.
The pack was conceived, designed and engineered entirely by ourselves. Consisting of high-density foam with double-sided cut-outs, it contained a brushed aluminium smart pen and aluminium folder (with contents), with a framed certificate on the opposite side.
Wrapped in heavy card, it was delivered in a branded, protective polypropylene sleeve.
The pack looked and felt professional and significant, reflecting the very character and values of the organisation. It would have impressed the recipients, we are sure, with a sense of the gratitude felt by our clients towards anyone who helps them in their vital work.
